Welcome to the Dooars!

The Himalayas definitely deserve a magnificent entrance. So we have Dooars, the grand gateway to the mighty mountains.

Vanya Awas is in the heart of Dooars, amidst the dense and dapper forest cover that has drawn tourists, naturalists and wildlife enthusiasts for ages.

Literally meaning ‘doors’, this alluvial plain corridor is about 30km wide and stretches over about 350km from the Teesta River in north Bengal and spills over to Assam. It is the gateway to Bhutan as well.
